Hotel Kennedy Nova - Gzira

Request for a fan if air conditioning struggles. Helpful and friendly bar staff make for an enjoyable time during happy hour.

We ate at a very clean restaurant for the breakfast.

The Kennedy Nova was very good value for money. The rooftop pool and bar are excellent for relaxing and sunbathing. Staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. Room was spacious and very clean and towels were replaced and the room cleaned daily. Breakfast was good, we did not have any other meals in the hotel. Hotel is well located in Sliema and is very convenient for the ferry across to Valetta and for doing any of the boattrips. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone going to Malta.

Lekker stay with a view 🌅

Chommies at reception were super helpful, especially that Polish lady. Got us sorted with a room late at night, a lifesaver! The brekkie was nice too, a good spread to start the day. That view of the Marina from the balcony was something else, sitting there is just lekker.

The room was a bit rundown, you could see it needed a proper sprucing up, but it was clean enough.

We stayed at the Kennedy Nova Hotel for 2 weeks. The main advantage was excellent location. There were the seafront, shops, cafes, the bus station, the ferry to Valletta. near the hotel! We liked the design of the hotel and the staff was also excellent and attentive.

The breakfast should be more various. The audibility was very good so I advise to take earplugs.

Excellent location with easy access to transport links. Views over harbour. Plenty of hot water for baths/washing. Comfortable bed and pillows. Availability of impromtu meals outside formal meal times.

Fruit juice at breakfast, dispensed from a machine, was very poor quality - very watery. Coffee was also not that good - but that applied generally elsewhere on the island.

Ideal location on Sliema Strand.

Traffic noise and the never ending badgering of touts outside the hotel front door trying to sell various trips. The lack of imagination in the breakfast menu i.e. scrambled eggs every morning for a week have they never heard of fried, poached or boiled?

We arrived at the hotel late but the helpful receptionist made it a breeze to check in and even suggested some great local spots to visit. The outdoor pool and sun loungers were perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The room could have used some updates, but honestly, the view from the balcony made it all worthwhile! 🌅

The staff are very nice people from Reception, through to Restaurant, Pool Bar and Room servicing - nothing too much trouble and always smiling.

The pool area is a bit dreary. The loungers are old and so are the mattresses. They urgently need replacing. The pool was not especially clean and there is a nasty-looking crack around the smaller end. I realise that this was March and the pool probably was due for treatment, but it shouldn't look like that ...

Location, we wanted to be close to Manoel Island Marina and this was just 300M away, ideal.

Several faults. The air conditioning struggled to keep cool and was excessively noisy. The breakfast options fell short, with poor quality scrambled eggs and stale cakes. There were unwelcome surprises like being charged for basic amenities such as the room safe.

It is very nice and calm hotel. The staff is very friendly. It was pleasant to have free of charge Wi-Fi in the lobby and in the charming garden inside.

Location's great with the ferry just 10 mins walk away, perfect for getting around. The water taxi and bus stop are right nearby. Breakfast spread was decent and staff were friendly.
